Are you ready for the mother of all PEAKS IN ECUADOR? The ultimate challenge – climb the highest mountain in Ecuador! For many years the Chimborazo (6310m) was thought to be the highest mountain in the world. Due to the height, proper acclimatization is essential- so you must have been in the sierra for at least a week and climbed above 5000 meters (preferably Cotopaxi) in that time. Snow up to the knees is not uncommon and a high level of fitness is required as the summit climb will certainly push you to your physical limits. Prepare for trekking and glacier climbing, not for the faint of heart.

Was a source of inspiration for a great like Simon Bolivar who wrote ¨My delirium about the Chimborazo¨ Mi delirio sobre el Chimborazo, many famous climbers have been here as Reinhold Messner, Sandy Patch Cinematographer that filmed about the last iceman of the Chimborazo, Baltazar Ushca is its protagonist with his 76 years climbs to the skirts of the mountain to cut blocks of ice and sell in the market to juice makers, is on the shield of the Ecuador representing the beauty and richness of the Andes, an imposing mountain with 3 peaks, for having a hump shape, from its maximum climbing you can see the Andes, the Amazon to the Pacific Ocean.
